Lol that one stuck around for a while. It's just an onomonopia that denotes someone would get in trouble for something they just did. Like "ooo, you're gonna get it", I grew up with Florida cousins that said "ooo wubbie wubbie" instead lol 😆

She moved a lot around the country and noticed that they didn’t say that anywhere else.

Yup. I have only heard it here in Maine and not since I was little (32 here)

I suppose it could have French/ Canadian origins, but they were never acknowledged, not that I was aware of anyway.
