The lost fire in Kennebunk is great, Bandaloop is decent as well. Not sure what you’re looking for or what your price range is.

Fyi kennebunk is not Biddeford

Holy cow it is deep fried though. I guess that’s the point. Definitely recommend.

Not a restaurant but Rover bagel is the best bagel I ever had. The hamburger stand is still closed for the season but their food is super good.

Mulligan’s.

You can thank me later.

After the food poisoning clears, check out Elda.

Batson River, Dunn Bar, Blaze Brewery, Que Huong for Vietnamese, Sweetcream Dairy for dessert.

Dunn bar is sneaky good

Seaweed-Basic t1_j5csvew wrote

The new owners have done a bang up job in the renovations and reopening for sure.

skakid69 t1_j5cyx93 wrote

Beware of the owners, sneaky people who have screwed over many employees and contractors.

Coletti's for pizza. Pizza by Alex is gross and definitely not worth the money.

In addition, I hear Fish & Whistle is good, as well as Dizzy Birds Rotisserie.

EDIT: Wok N' Roll for Chinese food, as well. Best in the city, IMO. They recently added online ordering which is good, much better than calling them.

I'd ward away from Mulligan's as well. I used to eat there all the time--cheap, good food--until someone here introduced me to a little thing called "many many health code violations". Thank you, Internet stranger.

Alex is far better than Colettis.

Hmm. Last time I had colettis it was typical pizza. Been eating Alex since I was a kid. Maybe I’ll have to retry colettis.

Yeah. Alex isn’t my favorite for sure. I’m sick of it. But all my friends like it over colettis. I prefer miccucis in Portland if I’m gonna get pizza.

DidDunMegasploded t1_j5csnyh wrote

Well, different strokes for different folks, as they say.

Tried Alex once, didn't like it. Then someone mentioned something about the owner being a crock of shit that warded me away from it...something about him being racist, maybe. I don't remember and who even knows if it's true.

I was hopeful to try it, but when I went in, the owner was too busy working on political connections to notice anyone was waiting to be seated. Ended up having a pretty good meal at Dunbar

Pizza by Alex for pizza.

Yummy house is terrible. Wok n roll is better.

Hard to get an order in at wok n roll they are so popular.

Anyone else remember happy dragon being good like 10 years ago?

It's funny how you have to trash one place before you are able to mention someplace that you think is better.

A lot of good suggestions so far, I'll throw Cowbell in. I love their burgers so much. Fried pickles are bomb too.

Just tried Portland pie for the first time. I was surprised with how not-so-good their pizza was. Such a gorgeous location, it made me wonder how they stay in business unless maybe some folks actually like it?

Coco is great for Mexican! Part and parcel is excellent for sandwiches. Bandaloop is in arundel but not even that far from Biddeford and the food is phenomenal with excellent drinks and service.

I ended up going to Coco. The street tacos were pretty good.

2

idhik3th4t t1_j5ujgm2 wrote

The food is so well priced! I love the chicken bowl- it comes with this roasted red pepper salsa that is infinitely better than the house salsa. I’m not a huge fan of dark meat so I don’t looove the chicken they use but it’s overall a ton of food in the bowl for super cheap! The drinks are delicious too!
