Bringfido.com seems to have a few pet-friendly hotels in Edmundston, NB, as well as VRBO and Air BnB in Ft Kent.

This is an old post, but if you're still looking consider the overlook in eagle lake. It is pet friendly. Also maybe eagle lake inn.

AirBnB usually has something pet friendly in most areas. I brought my dog to a place near Stockholm a couple years ago.

The hotel in ft Kent allowed small pets a few years ago, but they may be fully booked. I think it was Northern Inn or something
