Mother just got transferred to a rehab hospital in Manchester. Need to stay for 2 days. Any suggestions for a decent hotel such as a Hampton Inn with good prices? I also need a good Vietnamese restaurant if there is one. Used book store? Many thanks.

Golden Bowl by the stadium has Vietnamese dishes, may not be 100% Vietnamese though.

Hotels are pretty expensive in town, but The Tru is new and not horribly expensive.

The Bookery is also downtown but they don't have used books as far as I know.

Golden Bowl is solid, big fan of their Spicy Sate Beef Pho and their Chicken and Rice with nuoc cham. Buba Noodle is alright too, less authentic but it does have a better atmosphere.
