Hi! I'm new to the area. What is something fun I can take a 12yo and a 7yo to do?

Try disc golf with the kids at the courses near Pine Grove cemetery in the southern part of the city. Visit breakin chains off south willow street for instructions and discs.

They have "make art with our artist in residence" activities at the Currier museum of art. The SEE Science center will be too young for your 12 year old, but your 7 year old may enjoy it. Your 12 year old might enjoy the giant Lego millyard there though. The Millyard Museum is about the history of Manchester. I recommend it to anyone new to the city because it gives a good understanding of where we came from and how we got here...and the significance of the Millyard.

Like others said, the SEE Science Center is a great spot.
The Fisher Cats baseball team starts their season soon.
There's an awesome trampoline park in Goffstown.
Tons of trails and parks all over. The Uncanoonucs and Lake Massabesic have a lot.
Bear Brook and Pawtuckaway State Parks are close by too, but tons of camping, swimming, and hiking.
Joppa Educational Farm in Bedford is free and has lots of animals kids can pet.
The Currier Art Museum has kids stuff sometimes.
I plan to go watch planes at the airport soon. They have the NH Aviation Museum too.
I've the Nest Cafe in Londonderry is awesome if you want to relax with a coffee while your kids play.
It's a little further out, but we also loved the NH Children's Museum in Dover was awesome. I've also heard good things about the Christa McAuliffe Science Center in Concord.

Welcome to the area. I hope you enjoy it. This time a year we are starting to break out and return to more outdoor activities. If you check out community event calendars there are some great events coming up that may interest you. I love our parks (Stark, Livingston, Derryfield are 3 parks I frequent). Great for trail walking. I also used to take my kids to the see science center. Great kids venue with hands on experiences and the biggest Lego exhibit of the Millyard. I also love the currier museum also. I am not sure where you moved from so I don’t know what you are used to, but I am happy to add more suggestions if you need them.
