NH native here. Planning a girls night in Manchester for NYE .... unfortunately! There will be about 5 of us. I haven't been in the area in the last 5 years, just wondering what spots we should avoid, facebook is no help! lmfao

Mcgarvey’s, 603 music hall, whatever “drynk” is called now. No wait. How hammered per dollars do you want to get and how trashy are you and your friends?

not "manchvegas" trashy ... but not really classy by any means i guess. we all recently graduated college... we don't want to go home with a local douchebag, or be surrounded by 20 year olds with fake ID's, but we want also don't want to be the youngest in the bar either... high expectations! but we just want to have a good time and hear good music with cheap(ish) drinks! i just feel like finding a good balance at any NH bar is so hard.

I don’t want to be in Manchester. People in Manchester are trashy. The local men are douchebags. I don’t like people who are younger than me, or older than me…

I think you should narrow your search and focus on the cheap drinks. Won’t take long for everyone to realize you think you’re better than them and leave you alone.

Thanks, I’m looking forward to it. I almost always meet someone interesting when I travel. It helps that I don’t look down on people wherever I go or call them trashy.

I hope you find your magical place that meets your financial and aesthetic needs.

.... i literally grew up here. just haven't been in town since circa 2018, stepped foot into a bar downtown and I was the oldest person in the bar at age 21. my girls and i go out usually in boston, not hard to find fun there when you have unlimited options. i was answering the questions presented to me. you are assuming multiple things about me, and sound bitter and lonely. i hope your NYE is good

I didn’t assume anything. I gleaned information from your original post.

Listen, I’m not the one who came here for advice about where to drink. I’m sure your gaggle of beauties is a lot of fun to be around as you look down on everyone.

no, you're not. i'm the one who was looking for advice. instead i am now going back and forth with an insecure individual who provided zero input and instead once again assumed a bunch of weird shit about my friends and i. typical for any woman posting on reddit, but if you clearly do not partake in any fun due to your own misery, why add a comment?

Sigh… you’re a victim now. So sorry to hear it. Must be nicer when people don’t say anything about you being completely toxic.

I really didn’t assume anything. My post literally mirrored everything you said.

As for me, I’m going to have a great NYE overseas while you’re pretending to be better than everyone in…Manchester.

Your comment literally mirrored nothing but the insecurities in your own sad little head. Sorry that I don't want to go to just any old trashy Manchester bar for the night, might be your scene but definitely not mine! if that makes me 'better' than everyone else, or a victim, than ... so be it i guess?

I hope you get the attention you're seeking while you're overseas!

If all you want is to hang out with your company then why does the makeup of the bar matter so much? Are you trying to meet people or just hang out and not really talk to anyone else?

Bonfire is pretty good. They have a second floor with party games (large jenga, large connect 4, darts, bag toss...etc). Top floor sometimes has live music.

Strange Brew can be fun too. They have pool and typical bar games.

Murphy's Taproom can also be fun if there's live music playing. Watch out though, that area can be sketchy.

Recently it was no longer exclusive, unless they reinstated the password for the holidays, which is possible.

What are you looking for? Dinner, dancing?

My wife and I did the dueling piano show at the Raddison (or whatever it's called now).

Looking for live music mostly! But might be hard to find on such a busy weekend.

I think that may be up your alley. Dinner, drinks, dancing. Lots of fun, not many douchebags. The 'older' crowd usually gets out of there once the dance music starts.
