Had it for 3 months, customer service is decent, people arrive on time, and I have a gb of fiber for $70 ($80 next year). Join me brotha!

Have it and like it, with proper equipment I'm getting 1.1gb up and down depending on time of day!

It was already hooked up at the house we bought in May, so far its great. I have had some connectivity issues with my TV on occasion, but I think thats the TV.

I got them when I moved about 6 months ago. Only really had one issue that was resolved quickly. Solid speeds, good price, friendly tech support.

Usually pretty fast and mostly reliable.

Only problem I’ve had with them is that they decide to run updates unannounced which causes a service outage. Usually it’s in the middle of the night, so most people aren’t affected… but if you’re a late-night streamer, it’s frustrating.

Same as everyone else here mostly. Constant service issues with Comcast. They only started trying when fidium came to my area. Fidium was cheaper and multi times faster. I can never go back to a non fiber connection

This is just me an my opinion, I do and I love it. Full disclosure, I have 1 issue and I personally feel that it was weather related, understandable. During our last massive storm, I had connectivity issue (documented) issues for about 4 hours. I called customer support and to my surprise, they actually answered. 😳 We reset my ONT and the issues vanished. My 6 months or so with them has been infinitely better than a day with Comcast.

I switched a couple of months ago. My fidium app tells me I'm getting 1 gig up and down but actual speeds seem to be about 700 megabits. My connection with Comcast was a legit 1 gig down but I'm saving like $100 per month so I'm not complaining.

Does anyone use their own Modem/ Gateway or are you required to rent it from Fidium? Contract ending with comcast in April and want to at least consider supporting the alternative to Comcast.

Looked into applying but stopped when my social security number was required. Not sure why that was needed

You can use your own equipment, not sure if it's still the case but they were using PPPOE instead of DHCP in my area when I first got it so I had to input PPPOE credentials into my router, but they gave me those creds over the phone no questions asked. I think if you're on DHCP you'll still have to call in with the MAC address of your gateway but should be no issue.
