The constant use of the US flag must be a specific American thing, not sure I understand it (is this in a government office desk?) but in this context it really adds a pop of colour.

I really appreciate the success and opportunities I have found in this country. Now that might be on account of my skin color too so maybe I should put a white privilege flag next to it!
