There was (is?) a concrete keeb gb. It looked amazing. Not sure how the sound profile was. Not being able to trust too much in YT’s sound software or the creators audio input, surface, etc. Maybe I’ll sacrifice one of my Cyberspace Bbox to use it as a mold for concrete then make a silicone mold of that…..hmmmmmmmm

I’m glad I’m not the only one that had to take the USB port cover off because it wouldn’t fit with the motherboard in for a while I thought I was going crazy

I got one of them - Mason60. My suggestion is to make your own. The quality control was not great (bubbles, tray mount anchors just falling out, etc). I built mine with a POM plate and banana splits. I'll say that if you use cherry profile keycaps the sound is pretty meh on it. If you can stomach SA it is a much better choice to bring some of the sound profile out.

Oh I love me some tall caps. SA is guud. MT3 (ugh, Drop) are more favs. Did the case have any rebar-type material? I would think the tray mounts would have been metal. I would have welded/soldered some metal onto the standoffs and embedded them into the concrete for better stability. Any mount gets a huge amount of pressure from striking keys since the pcb is trying to move. Maybe I can figure out a 2 piece method and really get some decent rebar inside. Got a pic of the mason?

Very nice, why did you put a weight on? I can understand a heavy mouse but a keyboard doesnt move, ive never had mine accidently slide while typing but that might depend on the table and keyboard bottom surface

It’s a joke based on the upper range of hi end keyboards. Many keyboards have a weight to make them feel more substantial. One of those designs is called a Toblerone weight. So I grabbed a Toblerone candy bar and placed it where they weight would go as a funny.
