You might be able to add a magnet but don't think it's necessary

can do that with a hot glue. Never own a split keyboard before so I'll take your words for it :)

I've used the Ergo TKL by cloud nine which has a magnet but it's not very good. I prefer the Q11 as it stays put. Also the cloud9 is bulkier and more hollow. Not a bad keyboard just not the bees knees
