I'm sorry, but I don't understand your question. What is glossy? If you're talking about the keycaps they are aluminum. As for the wrist rest, it's epoxy. The keyboard case looking thing is acrylic. I apology ahead of time for not using the correct terms. I'm new to keyboard building.

Ya glossy acrylic, in my experience, seems so tough to keep clean and not smudged. I’m so used to seeing aluminum and matte plastic cases. That shiny bezel looks fantastic though.

Aluminum key caps? Didn’t know that was a thing. How is it? Is it for feel? Sound? Both?
Rainyfriedtofu OP t1_je2gu2s wrote
You should try it. It feel really cool and lighter than I expected. I like the feel of cool aluminum, and it sounds really good to me. However, I am a total noob to keyboard building so what feel and sound good to me, might be really bad for some of the guys on this sub. I built this because it was fun and cool. I wouldn't be a good frame of reference.

Thanks! Oooh, $200–damn!

It’s all aluminium haha. The A-stock was 450 USD or something like that

I cleaned your link: https://novelkeys.com/products/b-stock-aluvia-keycaps
You should edit your comment with this link
Next time you can remove all the trackers (everything starting with “?”) so it works better for everyone without keeping USD, etc.

Was worried about it being b stock passed on the chance of unusable keys
Rainyfriedtofu OP t1_je5mk07 wrote
It's really not as bad as you think it is. All of the keys were usable, and I can't even tell the difference between the A or B Stock. In fact, I kind of regret buying the A stock for another set. Then again, I was prepare to swap the keys from the A stock or other keycaps. I'm not OCD enough to be overly bother by one off key.

Off in the legends are fine but the warning about not fitting at all is the worry like the stem not being milled out
AdhesiveChild t1_je62lh2 wrote
Caps from https://metalkeyboards.no are overall better quality and only cost a little extra for the same layouts
The sets from novelkeys have unfinished bottoms I'm pretty sure
Worth a look for anyone who's searching for aluminium sets

I will be honest with you. I stopped counting after I passed $400 and I told my wife the keyboard cost $200 so she wouldn't kill me. If she found out how much my hobby cost, she would be super mad.

What protozoa keyboard is that?

It's the command: fire one.

Build info? Board, PCB, keycaps, stabilizers, etc.
Looks really good
Rainyfriedtofu OP t1_je3oxl0 wrote
I'm not sure how to answer this but i'll give it a shot
The keyboard is the protozoa command: fire kit which include the P.01 ultra pcb. It's a solid board.
As for the keycap it's the novelkeys aluvia keycaps aluminum thing.
The stabilizers are durock
The switches are gateron oil king
I think that is about it.
