I got the blues too, but because they're my first clicky switch I was incredibly delighted (actually still loving the clackclackclack as I type this. i am a simple creature). But then I read some reviews and now of course I'm thinking of how to upgrade. Maybe Boba U4ts since I love my U4s?
Got gatreon greens as my other bag. ah well, it was still fun.

True. I had a keyboard with Gateron Blue once and they're so bad. My brother took the same keyboard, but with Outemu Blue and it felt so much more tactile and solid, for 2/3rd of the price. With Gateron Blue you can literally feel the click mechanism working, it's not a good feeling. I feel scammed by all the keyboard related sites placing these in top 10.
That being said I'm not using them anymore and I would definitely not recommend. Just go with Outemu or pay more for BOX.

Generally Kailh box jades are accepted as the best clicky switch. I believe Boba U4ts are mega tactile but have no click mechanism.

If I had to use a click jacket switch I would probably just go with broken-in MX blues because they sound the least unpleasant and the weighting is nice enough. With Gateron you can actually feel the click jacket sliding around inside of the housing and they feel super...chalky? That's the best way I can describe them.
As of right now one of my current boards has Gateron pro yellows installed and those are really fantastic out of the box if you don't feel like spending 6 hours lubing. Not the most consistent factory lube but gets the job done if you're lazy like me.
