Just a bit of good ole' keyboard science at 1:45am. This might help some people with purchase choices. Enjoy!

Regarding the texture, is there a different brand that feels like GMK underneath the fingers? Have you tried Drop DCX?
Mainly I love GMK mostly for the feeling of laying my fingers on the keys. It's so smooth

JTK and Keykobo feel smoother in hand, not sure if that's partially down to residue still on them from manu. Not tried DCX yet as they haven't got international kits for my layout so they're worthless currently.

Have you had time to wear them out yet? I wonder if there’s a difference in texture after a while, or if the different plastic composition would make one more resilient to becoming really smooth

DCX out the box is definitely more smooth than even a slightly worn GMK set. I still work with it fine, but I definitely get what you mean with the feeling of a fresh GMK set.

What's your opinion on Keykobo vs GMK in terms of legend quality ?

I would say Keykobo (the sets I have) sit in on the same level as JTK, but worse than Domikey on the Alphas. I've heard that they've done some updates to the moulds recently, but generally for the price of a Keykobo set it's still excellent value. GMK overall for legends is still the most consistent across different sets.
