Ajazz driver has malware

So apparently today when my Ajazz AK992 keyboard arrived I tried to install their driver, but my Kaspersky detected malware. Something like "audio recording" and obviously it's fishy right, why would your keyboard dirver have audio recorder.

I agree this is a cheapass keyboard with highest config and not required drivers at all to operate. But never expected that.

Dose anyone have any 3rd party resource to control it?

Your keyboard probably has an audio reactive RGB mode. It's probably a false positive, but I still wouldn't trust it.

Kapersky is probably the problem. Does the board have an audio reactive LED mode? It's probably something like that.

Nothing like that is actually mentioned anywhere, like not in the description docs or anything. So I'm not sure though if it has that feature or not.

Just a thought... I'm not saying it has, but I don't think anyone is stupid enough to make some kind of spyware, and actually call it "AudioRecord.exe".

Absolutely right. I also think the same thing. It's just a social engineering method to draw your attention to the most obvious thing when the actual treat is something else.

I'd use a virtual machine. I also heard about an app called Windows Sandbox, available on the Microsoft Store I believe. You can try running their driver on that.
