It was tested on a modded GAS67 and Keychron V1, with both ABS and PBT keycap soundtests included in the video.

Do you have Akko's V3 Cream Yellow switches? How do you like them?

Solid review, I’ve had my eyes on these for a while and watched a few reviews including yours, your video has tipped the scale to purchase some 👌🏻

They sound very similar to milky yellows, no?

Airmaxrr OP t1_jbfcs3w wrote

Not at all, milky yellows are more muted and quiet, while the cream yellows are significantly more loud and clacky.

Haha that seems to be the case for majority of the Akko switches , still not bad for the budget and for those who prefer that sound profile

Great review! I especially liked the comparison between the milky yellows and cream yellows. I had the misconception that the cream yellows were "thockier" than the milky yellows so thank you for clearing that up.

I have some of the lavenders, the sponge yellows, and the ocean blues. They are all pretty solid for the price. I like pretty light switches though. My keeb with holy pandas collect dust... should have saved the money and went with the sponges first lol.

Hi, is the upper casing on the switches transparent or does it have a yellow tint? I’m afraid it might interfere with rgb lighting if theres a yellow tint.

Airmaxrr OP t1_jdzw486 wrote

It has a yellow tint, the top housing needs to be transparent for it to show accurate RGB.
