Well it’s basically and literally a rectangle with 2 ferritic stainless steel bands wrapped all-around it so you can magnetically attach stands, bottom weights and other modular accessories. It also features a simple assembly with 4x M3 screws and the same rotary encoder known from devices like the OP-1.

Is it still considered southpaw if the arrows aren't on the left too?

I have one criticism of that board: I don’t own it…. And that makes me sad.

This is a dream for data entry! Numpad and mouse at the same time. Nice.

This keyboard looks like a dream.

Why isn’t this layout more common???

On a side note, have you ever thought about integrating a fingerprint reading into a keyboard to login to windows and auto fill passwords.

Like integrating something like this:

https://www.kensington.com/p/products/data-protection/biometric/verimark-it-fingerprint-key-fido2-webauth-windows-hello-and-windows-hello-for-business/

I thinks it would be done by integrating a 2 port usb hub in the keyboard pcb. One usb for the keyboard and another for the fingerprint reader. Just a random idea I had recently

Very nice looking board. The layout of the numpad throws me a little bit. Then again, mine isn't exactly standard. I've replaced the numlock with a delete button. That way backspace and delete are next to each other (my board doesn't have a nav cluster).

Nope! The idea behind the Studio series is to outsource production so that prices are much lower (and to keep from hindering main line Geist board production). Yesterday they mentioned they're aiming for pricing "from $499".
