Completely subjective.

Although we all know that Beamsprings are the best sounding switches.

Here I am feeling satisfied with only Unicomp's buckling springs despite my history of using tactile (for 3+ years) and (recently) linear switches.

Just RTFM'd and took me far too long to realize that buckling springs and beamsprings are simply different.

There isn’t really a good answer to this, lots of different people like a lot of different sounds. For my money, Topre domes are probably my fav stock sound.

Sounds like a rubber dome with extra steps

Costs more too. That’s how you know it’s better.

I am closing in on like.. 20 keyboards. My HHKB with custom domes is one of the best feeling and best sounding to type on.

Small edit : Only mentioned linear switches, don’t know enough about tactiles to recommend them

Hey, i am currently using Gateron oil king switches which are pretty great stock (the batch i got came out really nice)

Never tried ktt rose and strawberry switches but heard a lot of good things about them as well the prevail switches that are manufactured by jwk !

ktt's are really good but i noticed they need good boards to get the real sound profile out of them.

In my (limited) experience so far I’ve enjoyed the stock sound of my Drop + INVYR Holy Pandas the most.

There's no such thing, as a keyboard's sound is a product of the case, plate and keycaps more than it is the switch. The same switch can sound completely different in a different keyboard. It's also irrelevant as it's a personal choice anyway, even if you could choose how a keyboard sounded by merely choosing a switch.
