I LOVE my dots. I always thought keycaps with sub legends were cluttered, even the normal legends were a bit too cluttered for me. But blank keycaps were too plain. Then I found dots. It just happened they were selling extras so I didn't even have to wait!

I am glad that you were able to pick them up without going through a long GB. The wait always kills me for those keycaps. My only GMK set is the GMK Pulse and Drop had readily available haha.

Keyboard Specs:

  • GMK Olivia Clones
  • Gateron Black Inks V2 (L+F)
  • Stock Stabs (Re-lubed with krytox and bandaid taped around the wire with dielectric grease [I was too lazy to do holee mod. This is my lazy way of doing the holee mod.])
  • Tape mod (three layers of painter's blue tape)
  • Force Break mod with bandaid
  • Cablemod Pro Coiled Cable

It feels great to me. The alice layout is not hard to get used to. I just have to fix my "Y" finger haha. I like how cushy the keyboard is. My other big boy build was the GMMK Pro and that was stiff like a rock. Love the thoccy sound and it's been a pleasure to type on this keyboard.

Haha, when I saw the Q8, I was also tempted to pull the trigger. As I browsed youtube reviews of the Q8, I read a comment saying the Q10 is a Q8 with function rows and that was going to be released in late September. That sold me since I needed the function row for work so I waited until the Q10. Couldn't be happier with it.
