Here! Although my preferences are weird, either I feel like running the smallest form factor board possible one day or a full battle cruiser the next day. No in-between.

I like extremes too. Daily I use a 36-key and a split 108-key. Both ortho. Also have several 3x10 for portable use, and a 2x4 for one-hand. Thinking of hand-building an 8x24 when KAM/DSA Playground keycaps are available.

What's the split 108? Is it a custom board? I have trouble finding large split ortho boards :/

I have the BFO9000. https://keeb.io/collections/bfo-9000. I actually wish it has one more column.

Ah man I was hoping you had a different one, I was gonna get the BFO9000 but for some reason shipping to me from Keeb.io is stupid expensive, the keyboard came to ~$600 NZD altogether, which is more than I was willing to spend. I've settled for a Runner 3680, which is smaller but still bigger than my lumberjack, which is the main thing

PCB+switch plate+bottom plate is only US$42 total, which is about $72 NZD. Shipping+tax etc costs $500?! That’s a lot!! You may want to search for some open source 6-row ortho keyboard and order the PCB/plates yourself. Could be cheaper, esp if you can sell the extras. I found one: https://github.com/Kyrremann/index-tab 2x6x13 = 156 keys!

Oh oops, I meant including switches and caps. The keycaps were probably the most expensive part, it is not easy to find compatible keycaps sets for an ortho board that big

There is virtually no sculpted keycap set for 6-row ortho. Usually you’d need to get at least both the base kit for 100% and the ortho kit. For me, I need to get the Colevrak kit too. Even for a 5x15, I want PgUp, PgDn, etc, and many times they only come with the base/full kit. 😓

One option is to go for Signature Plastic’s DSA set. Kitting is more flexible, but it’s a uniform profile.
