What you're looking for is a keylogger. They're are often used in malicious trojans to spy on your passwords etc. I'm sure there are legit ones out there too, but be careful with what you download, this is the kind of stuff you don't want ending up in the wrong hands

What your describing is called a keylogger it's commonly used to steal info so I would be careful downloading it, you can always search up most used keys on a keyboard for an easy option, I do know Logitech has some mouse tracking thing maybe it works for keebs although probably only on their keebs

There used to be a "heat map" feature in an old version of Logitech software, although I'm doubtful of you wishing to download that as well as if that feature still even exists. I'll reply to my comment shortly when I can get to my computer to find out

It is best to create your own script to do this. It wouldn’t be so hard. Having one from the internet will likely be malicious. It is very easy to code one up if you have had any basic programming classes. If you mostly do typing then it will follow language letter frequency of whatever you are typing in. If gaming it will be different. Otherwise it will only be the hot keys which shouldn’t be to difficult to figure out.

If you dont trust 3rd party stuff you can write one very easily using pynput that should be "safe enough" for your personal, local needs.
