I built my first ever kit last night, and chose Geon's Frog TKL kit, in my favorite color! Specs are below:

Kit - Geonworks Frog TKL (Dark Purple) Kit

PCB Plate - Aluminum Plate (with foam)

PCB - Apollo 87H Hotswap PCB

Switches - Gateron Ink Black V2s, lubed with mixed Krytox 205g0 and 105 on bottom housing and stem, 105 on spring, filmed with 0.125mm Kebo Switch Films. (Bought these switches off r/mechmarket because I had trouble finding them elsewhere.)

Stabilizers - TX Clip-In Stabilizers, housings are lubed with Krytox 205g0 and wires are lubed with XHT BDZ.

Keycaps - Infinikey Blacklight

Deskmat - KeebsForAll Bayanbulak Grassland Deskmat

Very nice! I just built a dark purple frog a few days ago. I am really enjoying it. I also used some plate foam but am considering trying it without.

Thank you! I rebuilt it after trying the polycarb plate; too much flex for my liking, although I preferred the deeper thock my spacebar made on that material.

I hear the foam's not as much a necessity for more quiet linears; the foam helps tighten up noisier ones like Zakus and Geon Blacks, from what I've been told.

Which tadpoles are you using? I have the 80’s. I was using some long pole (pink robins) and gmk set, but the spring were a little too heavy for me. Swappied in some alpacas while I wait for new springs. I’m really liking the sound.
