I've been lurking around this sub a lot, and after looking at several beautiful builds on here, I decided to give it a go myself.

At some point, the idea was to just get a cheap base and then replace the keycaps. But, over time, I found myself wanting to do a little more than just that so I went ahead with this build:

Base: Epomaker Eclair 75

Switches: Tangerine 62g

Keycaps: Traitor Kabuki

Mods: Silicon dampening pour into the bottom of the case

Overall, I really like the sound and feel of this keyboard and I got to really enjoy the entire process without spending too much. Unfortunately, the R-shift key was too big so I just stole this one from another keyboard I have. The only real problem in my opinion is the rattle-y stabilizers. Anyone with the same board that can recommend some mods for this?

I have an epomaker keyboard, I tried the bandaid mod and relubing, but I just ended up swapping them. I put the everglide v3 stabs in and it sounds much nicer now

nice work, how did you manage the interference from the north facing switches?

Interestingly, I don't seem to have a problem here. I'll admit I don't know much to make a comment, but perhaps it's due to the design of the tangerines that I don't have issues?

Check your R3. It’s the “ASDFGHJKL” row.

Hear and feel if there are any differences in sound between that row and the other rows. It should bottom out (interference means keycap hits housing before switch bottoms out) quicker than others and sound higher pitched.
