I know these are both normal people's boards but do cats have favourite switches to sit on? Do they like the the comfy linear switch, the supportive tactile or the human-annoying clicky?

I don’t know. Mine has no preference. I’ve had membranes in the past, clickies, linears, tactiles—whatever it is, if they fits, they sits. It seems to me that if they sense that you don’t what them on the keyboard, they’ll go for it.
