There isn't a best switch per say- it is down to preference. One thing, I will tell you though, half the replies here will be on tangies/banana splits/black inks.

You should also consider your plate material. Here's a general guide I would give:

Aluminium: Really works with anything, people like using blacks a lot

FR4: Jwks, long-pole or not are recommended (alpacas, banana split etc)

POM: If you want a 'soft' sound you can use deeper switches like inks

PC: Anything works, if you wanna be quirky use browns

Like what sound are you after? Something beyond 'eargasmic'

I already ordered a brass plate with the pcb, how will that affect sound? I will also do plenting of modding, my case will be resin, pbt chery profile keycaps, and ill get plate foam, switch pads, hand lube switches, switch filmed, and maybe even a silicone pour

Outside of actually trying the switches, the sound profile im looking for is like the Tealios switch but the feel from what I have read would be the Banana Splits.

Ok. Brass is stiff- I'm sure you know that. From experience, it sounds (stronger) for lack of word than softer plates such as fr4, pom/pc, it sounds flatter and deeper than aluminium

Regarding the switches, I am so so sorry but could you elaborate on what a 'tealio' sound would be... for feel there are 3 (?) main factors- weight (spring), smoothness and stem length (or bottom-out). A banana split I'd assume would be medium weight, smooth and regular length.

Again, I'm very sorry if I'm spewing too much info

Nah its fine I was here to learn and I am learning alot.

The second kb is Tealios The third keyboard is Banana Splits

I personally rank the tealios barely ahead, with the Banana Splits still a very good sounding choice

I am looking for something that is almost "creamy" in sound. However I think i might need tactiles for that and im not into tactiles at all.

Mmm ok one thing I forgot to mention tho is that switch attributes rather little to sound, sound quality mainly comes from the keeb case and plate. While switches impact this, I don’t think it is as important as the keeb itself. I also want to say it is going to be difficult chasing a ‘creamy’ sound with a brass plate- look more towards Pom
