Aww, sorry.

I'm now considering buying the 008, and the limited functionality of the knob is definitely a downer. I'd love to use it just to switch between layers. I already have a volume scroll wheel that I quite like on my ControlPad.

Does the knob have a tactile feedback when turning? If the rotation is smooth, it's going to be really hard to control which layer you end up on.

I'm not sure. I've not bought it yet.

You can always use the LED lighting to indicate the layer.
