Just brought this up because I don’t think I’ve seen Keychron come with a tape mod

Don't think I've seen any keyboard come with a tape mod, for that matter. More are shipping with PE or poron foam, but this is new to me. Cool to see popular mods being adopted by manufacturers

Tiger80/Tiger80 Lite actually had an optional custom-printed tape mod! It was pretty thin but you could put your own extra layers underneath and then have a custom pic hanging out the back. Worked great with the acrylic case of the Tiger80 and the transparent case of the Tiger80 Lite.

This one in the q65 feel pretty thick

D60 Lite comes with custom designed tape mod which I think is pretty cool, never expected this to be a thing with Keychron though

The Q8 came with this. Honestly, I don't think it's that great. It's very stiff and is more like adhesive cardstock than tape, so the sound profile is a bit different.

I agree that the sound signature isn’t what normal painters tape will give you, think it’s still pretty interesting to see tho
