Does this board seem tall? Would you need a wrist rest to use it? Curious as I’ve been eyeing one. I have a KBD67 Mark II PVD now.

Odin for the win. I have the v1, purple. How’s the sound across the board?

That's funny, i started playing Valhalla recently and i told myself I should be using Norse to play it, felt right.

But why no ISO-Nordic layout? It would have been the perfect fit :(

I don't understand why bilingual keyboards are almost always English + Japanese, and the few that aren't are usually something weird like English + Norse.

I just want an English + Greek keyboard that doesn't look ugly as sin. There's only one such keycap set I've found out there, and it's hideous.

Love the Odin V2. Have the e-white myself but that blue looks really good.

I enjoy anime as much as the next neckbeard here, but personally I only want symbols on my keyboard that I can actually use. If someone knows Japanese, then power to them, but it's definitely over-represented.

Greek characters would be super useful to me because I use them quite a lot in my work (physics), so making a layer dedicated to them (and a layer dedicated to the TeX codes for them) would be rather nice.

I'm 120 hours into Odyssey after not playing AC since Syndicate (which I only put 20-30 hrs into). I can't wait to play Valhalla.

Thanks. Didn't look like 38" on the picture. Looks like you are sitting pretty close. Do you ever have trouble seeing the whole screen or is it just fine? How is it in competitive FPS if you play any?

You are confusing keycaps with layouts and layers. You can always buy a CRP set with keycaps with greek legends but that won’t make your keyboard actually output them.

At the same time if your keyboard uses QMK you can always use a greek layout on a layer.

Or use a greek layout from your OS settings.

Of course you can do all three but it isn’t the manufacturers fault for not providing for your specific needs, apparently greek is more niche than hiragana :)

Which keycaps are these?

LoganJFisher t1_iy3ni8k wrote

Sure, but not every Greek letter has an easy analogue and a few of their names start with the same letter. Ultimately, it would just be best to have bilingual keycaps to create a guide.

Just discovered Aegean Sea.

They look great, but unfortunately lack the lowercase Greek letters. As someone who uses the Greek alphabet as variables rather than for writing, while I know the uppercase and lowercase versions of each letter, having the lowercase symbols shown would be helpful. Oh well.
