Yeah, I have polyfil in my q2. I'm not a fan of the silicon in my v1

Silicon is what the processor is made of. Silicone is what was poured here

The Q series have bounce not flex. And tbh, so long as the PCB isn't pushing against the silicone it'll be fine

What do you mean by this? They're the same thing (at least from what I've seen).

1000% chance this keyboard wont bounce as much as it would without the silicone, and it doesnt need it unless theyre trying to mute the board.

If they didn't buy a spare plate there will be almost no flex at all. Maybe thats intentional though, I know I tried to go for a similar design with my Q5 & Anubis switches.

Bounce is where the entire pcb and plate assembly moves as one. Flex is where it can be more isolated to certain parts of it, without the whole thing moving.
