Okay just got a keyboard but is PE foam really worth it and is it for everyone?

Really depends on what sound you want. It's supposed to give a "marbly" sound. My take on it is that PE foam usually comes with keyboard kits, so the material is already there for you to try it out. If you use it and find that the result isn't for you, just remove and find something else to mod the keeb.
