Depending on your input habits, if 60% keyboards are useless, wouldn’t 40% of keyboard users be unable to surf the Internet at all?

There are optimal solutions, a 40-60% has a niche among MacBook users (given F-keys aren't often used), but not for desktop Mac, there are N better mechanical keyboards that doesn't compromise productivity or condition user to rely on keys combinations.

IMHO this keyboard lies closer to fetishism than actual ergonomics .

As a keyboard that pays tribute to the classic design of the 1980s, you have to bind it with the rules of 2022. Do you think what you said is reasonable? Should the antique books used for decoration be burned because they are not easy to read and retrieve?

again unsure of why you think this. you can program these keyboards any way you want.

There are much better mechanical Mac keyboards, this is just fetishism vs actually ergonomics/usability. It maybe less harmful on MacBook than desktop where a TKL o 60% won't forced you into key combinations, I use my Mac mostly to code I have an TKL Ctrl keyboard even with custom firmware, this is simple irrational.
