I started on the keyboard hobby quite recently, very excited to lube them tomorrow. I was planning a new board and these came quite handy rn 🤩

I'm very excited! It's going to be my first linear experience. I have a ducky one 2 mini with Mx browns atm. I modded it with tape mod + foam mod and lubbed them all, very nice experience so far

Oh hell yeah, i love mx browns when lubed.

I’ve been wanting to get into the tactile game, and have really only experience kailh browns. Any recommendations?

You can never go wrong with Boba U4Ts.

I also really like Durock Sunflowers and SP-star Magic Girls.

Truth be told, i don't have alot of experience with most regular tactiles, almost all the ones i use are modded/frankenswitched, for example mx brown housings with Kailh Polia stems.

Not a switch but Niz Plum boards are tactile and they feel amazing.

But in the end, my favorite tactile out of all of these are mx Browns, lubed and filmed.

Yo thanks for the info! I’ve heard about bobas being super popular, so I’m probably gonna get those. I really like the sound of em.

MrDexterReddit t1_j1mez1j wrote

Yeah they are great. They also do not need any lubing or modding.

The ones listed in the comment above have a fairly strong tactile bump (for stock mx style), I would recommend seeing if you like strong tactility or weak tactility.

One of my favorite tactiles is the Zeal Clickiez in Tactile mode. I think they’re outstanding as tactiles. Prefer them to my boba u4t

I will start lubing them later on today when I'm back home, I tested them yesterday and they genuinely sound REALLY GOOD out of the box

I own these and i can confidently say that i would run these stock, no question about it.

Nice! I'm currently using this switch. I love the poppy sound.

Shubarax2 OP t1_j1m4npc wrote

Really nice! Are you using it stock or lubbed?

1

InflatableDick t1_j1m8ywn wrote

Stock for now. I really liked the sound signature and I'm afraid of changing it after lubing. And the switch is not scratchy anyway.

I would recommend any of the akko metal diy kits :)
