Serious question:

I have a cheap board with Otemu blues that I used a few years ago when I had an office job. Got a new job and will be back in an office half the time. The switches are a bit scratchy and have a metallic ping. What can I do to improve the experience?

Honestly? If it's not hotswap, I'd recommend spaying them with some silicone grease. If you can easily swap switches, get anything other than outemu switches. Good cheap options are gateron pro v2 and v1s , as well as akko switches in general.

Not swappable.

Alright, feel free to dm me so I can explain how to lube them with spay lube or just search: "how to lube switches without desoldering". Also consider adding some foam below the PCB or some cotton between the PCB and the top

Thanks for the help! I have some foam and will try to open up the case. I think I can manage lubing.
