Thanks to u/up-dawg for the advice on getting the Tri-Mode Version to post memes :)

What is that screen in front of the controller? Looks sort of like an elgato stream deck but different brand?

Elgato Stream Deck +!

Do you stream or use it for other stuff? Seems like it could be useful for a number of things. Been curious to buy one if I could justify a use case. Was thinking of getting one to use for a bunch of shortcuts in photoshop to go with my Wacom tablet

Edit: I like that model with the volume nobs but would want more buttons.

Other stuff! I mainly got this one in particular for audio control / mixing because it has the dials but I'm hoping they push a software update that makes the dials more useable because its pretty limited right now. I also have a preset for photoshop / after effects which helps tremendously but if you don't have a use for the dials, I'd go with a standard one, but so far it's helped me tons!

Edit: So you can make a swipe gesture on the screen above the dials that shuffles through your different presets which basically means your not limited to the 8 buttons it has.

Are plug-ins supporting it? Like the discord chat one

Coly-How OP t1_j2ahwlf wrote

Discord has plug-ins with the actual buttons like mute / deafen / etc. just no functionality with the dials.

On my Stream Deck, I'm using a plugin called "Discord Volume Mixer" which allows me to change volume of individual user. Can you try it and tell me if it works with knobs?

Coly-How OP t1_j2aqres wrote

"Discord Volume Mixer" has no intergration with the dials sadly (hopefully with future updates that changes). However, the plugin "Volume Controller" does and it has the option so set your output / input on the dials as well as the other manual detection features such as Spotify, browser, etc.

I’m not trying to be rude but wouldn’t that screen your referring to be “behind” the controller?

My guess would be just a regular 7 -10" hdmi display. Also you can now subscribe to comments so you also get the answer instead of possibly stealing it from top commenter.

Galaxy Tab A7 Lite running superDisplay that lets me use it as a secondary monitor and the app works flawlessly. No input lag and it’s exactly what I was looking for in terms of a tiny second monitor that’s also portable.

And can I ask what speakers you are using? They seem to be super popular (or maybe there are a few different ones that look similar). I've seen them a lot on PC subs and I've always wondered.

Audioengine A2+! Most people go with Audioengine or the Kanto YU2. I’ve tried both and Audioengine blows Kanto out of the waters!
