It was provide an alternate address we can deliver to at this price or else pay the extra fee. After waiting a few months and already spending over $250, I wasn't going to say I didn't want it for $50 more.

I think it by default gets moved to a DHL rather than their local post when I pay the premium.

Either way, the LEAST they could do is have an automated message saying they were shut for a few days rather than leaving a customer hanging.

oh i get the situation now. yeah that’s fucked. these companies should really pay out of pocket for this kinda stuff. any larger of a company and things like this wouldn’t happen, very unprofessional of them.
