How does the board feel overall? I'm considering picking up one of these or a Zoom65 V2.

Great set that, and it had the novelties in the base set, which is unusual for a group buy set.

What do you think of it? It looks like a bunch of us are having these delivered lately (I'm waiting on one now myself). In this post, the owner mentions some quality issues about the parts fitting together.

i’m extremely happy with it. great poppy acoustics and good flex for all things considered very cheap.

feels great. for gaskets, not extremely bouncy but it’s def still there. finish and general quality are all good except for the foams which were a bit questionable

all these zoom tkl posts just make me more and more impatient to receive mine lol

some paint job issues tho..

What was questionable about the foams? Also, how does the board sound?

the board sounds nice and poppy for me, but banana splits and a pc plate is bound to be higher pitched so your mileage may vary. i found the foams were all stick together and 2 of the foams had imprints of the other and just seemed a bit poor quality and weird. all in all minor nitpick tho, all in all id say it’s def worth it

Looks great! I ordered the crimson red version and am still waiting for delivery. All these Zoom TKL builds are great to see!

Meletrix have been frustrating me! They needed me to pay extra $50+ for "remote shipping location". I replied to them within 10 mins of their email that I'll pay the extra charge and it took them a week only to send me a wrong link to pay and it's been a week since 🤷🏻‍♂️

wow, i’ve been hearing a lot of complaints with shipping, i guess i just got lucky. i got mine 3 days ago i think? i’m from canada near toronto btw

I'm guessing all of this is shipping from China? I was convincing myself that it's the Chinese new year so they are busy. But it's ridiculous how you can't send a link to a guy who is literally ready to pay you extra for shipping! I'm in Qatar and it should be easier to ship to me without charging me a premium.

yeah it’s all shipping from HK. i’m surprised they wanted you to pay extra. for me, the base shipping was already like $70 cad

I just went to see how much I paid at it was $85! Adding another $50 is just daylight robbery.

I'm literally going to be paying $130 in shipping for a $180 board. Someone may think I live in remote Africa or Antarctica!

that’s completely insane. will it not be delivered unless u pay 50 or was it just to be faster or more convenient or whatever? i feel like it can’t be legal to have an out of nowhere 50 charge to get ur product

It was provide an alternate address we can deliver to at this price or else pay the extra fee. After waiting a few months and already spending over $250, I wasn't going to say I didn't want it for $50 more.

I think it by default gets moved to a DHL rather than their local post when I pay the premium.

Either way, the LEAST they could do is have an automated message saying they were shut for a few days rather than leaving a customer hanging.

oh i get the situation now. yeah that’s fucked. these companies should really pay out of pocket for this kinda stuff. any larger of a company and things like this wouldn’t happen, very unprofessional of them.
