Noice. How long did it take you to get used to typing on ortholinear?

My lumberjack is on the way actually, from what I've heard it's a small adjustment, you may have a slower wpm from taking the time to make sure you hit the key you're going for off home row but that's about it til you get fluent on it. I'm currently learning Colemak while I wait for it to arrive as I had to order blank keycaps for my lumberjack, have to learn to touch type quick haha

Colemak seems like a steeper learning curve than ortholinear haha. Maybe I'm just afraid :)

Im not a skilled typer at all, i didn't even use traditional home row/standard typing practice before picking up colemak, but I learned where all the keys were in probably 6 hours of typing, qwerty is kinda weird for me now lol. You can install the typing layout for windows and just learn to touch type using a typing site that helps learn alternative layouts, shows where the new keys are right on screen so you don't even need to rearrange your keycaps.

Thanks!
Not too long. Maybe about a week to be able to use it comfortably. Got up to speed in no time after that and I never had any issues switching between a staggered layout, which I use at work, and ortholinear.
