Ikea sells long hooks which are ideal to place a keyboard on two of them. Iād say they sit pretty safely on there, and are also in a nice angle for display :)

Mine are placed near where I would need to use them.
I only have one "display model".
That one is a scratch-built macropad that I don't need anymore.
It sits in my den, as a conversation piece.

The ones I frequently use I have on the ikea pegboard. For the others I have each of them in a carrying case right behind me in a closet
