Hey all. I started lurking here a while back and thought that even though I don't type all day for my work, having a nicer keyboard will give me just a bit more joy so i can smile more during long days working from home. I was intimidated by some of the prices so I decided to wait until a good deal came along. Never had any mechanical keyboards before. Hopefully I got a decent one!
Do I need to use both USB plugs? Any cleaning tips? Glad to be a part of the community!

You can use one of the USB plugs, one is just for wrist wrest underglow (I think). Pretty sure the cable labeled “Razer,” is the main one you use.
For cleaning, I would first wipe away whatever you can (gunk, dust, etc) then use an air duster can to spray away what you can’t get. If you don’t want to buy one, you can use a Q-tip but it won’t be as efficient. If there is stains that you can’t get rid of, rubbing alcohol would do the job.
Some people spray their keyboards with water, but please be careful. It’s very easy to mess up and make sure you dry the keyboard for 2-3 days before plugging it.
Anyways, congrats on your first keyboard!

Welcome! I’m fairly new as well. I’m in college and type long hours on pretty extensive assignments. When I got in this hobby I just couldn’t go back to a membrane keyboard. I cringe every time I have to use one lol. I also do some light gaming. I like lubed linear switches. Gives me that satisfying T H O C K
