Yeah I saw these keycaps when I was building in the Sonnet configurator, and I instantly knew I had to get this awesome combo

You're very much welcome! How are the Doom Tactiles?

Fantastic. They’re long pole with a nice bump and a two-stage spring. I think the BadSeed Tactiles are very similar to them in terms of feel (the stem, spring, and bottom housing are virtually the same for what it’s worth) but the top housing on the Doom is made of HDPE, which leads to a sound that’s pretty unique in general.

I’d recommend checking out coleydotmp4’s video on them if you’re interested, because she also gets to talk with the switch’s creator.

I am so tempted by a Mode Sonnet, it's difficult for me to justify the price right now, but yours is gorgeous!

I felt the same way about it at first. I think that if you like the look, sound, and form factor, you can’t go wrong choosing it. I’d suggest a board from Keychron, QwertyKeys, Akko, or one of the other budget offerings if you’re interested. I saw a bunch of posts over on r/BudgetKeebs on the Mongoose M1, but I don’t know enough about it to give a solid recommendation. The Keychron V1 is a fantastic starting point, and the QK75 is just beautiful.

Also, thanks for the compliment!

Edit: A lot of people seem to like the Mongoose M1, I’d give that a look

Edit 2: The Moondrop Dash75 is cheaper than the GMMK Pro and comes with a AMP/DAC included. Shoobs and Keybored have done some good videos on it.
