fortunately it wont be too hard for you since you used blank keycaps. Just gotta switch the black ones for white and vice versa, then replace the esc key with a white one.

The red casing is a nice touch as well.

Just rotate it 90°. Since you only get 4 columns this way, I'd probably recommend files b to e so you get to keep your queen, and you'd be required to keep your king.

If you rotate a chessboard by 90 degrees it's no longer a chessboard, by your reasoning at least.

So referees at chess tournaments are not, in fact, looking at a chess board, but instead a checkers board. How can they possibly judge a game of chess then?
