Debuting my personal endgame, Clavert - vertical wireless split keyboard. Given how high I'm tenting my previous builds I thought it only make sense to make a naturally vertical board. Besides I wanted to play with ZMK for quite a while now.

It seems that all the cool kids are doing PCBs right now but I don't know how to design one, so this is a hand wired build. You can find the files and some details in the repo here.

Is it like really havy and with anti slip feet? Or how dos it get enough resistance to not just slip inwards.

Godspeed, which I think that is, looks so good on this board. Totally looks like the board is straight from the 60s.

The olive one looks like some sort of military aircraft controls. I love the looks but feel like it would tip over without being mounted.

These look great! And +1 for Colemak.

Do you use some sort of arm rests with these?

I have so many questions, as I want to design a very similar keyboard myself.

What keyboard have you been using until you've decided that this is the most comfortable angle? I've noticed that you are not using any wrist rests. Are you already used to not having them? What have you used to create / amend the design? I'm trying to code with openSCAD but figuring out all the math to connect components together takes too much energy.

Have you tried less columns? I had redox and I found myself not using many of the keys so then I tried minidox (36 keys) and I enjoy it but I could find use for few more keys.

I've been using ergodox -> dactyls -> redox -> redox manuform and decided that this layout is the sweet spot for me. I'm not familiar with openSCAD so I used solidworks and it's completely manually modeled. As for less columns or rows they don't really work for me since I'm from East Asia and need to switch between languages inputs so 70 keys is the minimum for me. For example num rows are required to type Traditional Chinese and it'll be hell for me if I have to switch between layers for numbers.
