So of course we all know about the controversial things that the lead singer has said and the many arguments about why the band broke up.

But putting that aside, why do people seem to unanimously agree that their worst album is Reinventing The Steel despite good songs like Revolution is My Name, Goddamn Electric, I'll Cast a Shadow, and Yesterday Don't Mean Shit?

P.S. I'm one of those few people who thinks that Pantera doesn't have any bad songs whatsoever. I'm just curious why the other 4 albums are always praised for being great and then the last one is mediocre or bad to most people.

Sometimes people comment without reading the article. It’s like that.

It felt like a middle album, like they werent sure what they wanted to put on it. I think if it would have had a better reception if it came out before Trendkill.

I’ll be honest, I’ve never listened to that album despite being a Pantera fan since the mid 90s.

You may be right about this, I’ll check out these songs. Unlike you, I do think Pantera is hit and miss on all of their albums, but man do I love the hits.

That’s always been my opinion too. The other 4 are definitely better overall

Instrumental clips of Death Rattle were featured in the SpongeBob episode Pre-Hibernation Week. I enjoyed that. Some might say sellouts.
