I know a lot of people are probably from the US, but even then it'll be cool to see what is brought up. Mine will be "O bêbado e a equilibrista - Elis Regina"

Songs by Zack Tabudlo
quite good, I like it, what language is that?
Afterimage by Delta Sleep
just listed to Pano, I dig it, what language is it?
It has a cool vibe
Filipino/Tagalog
Kukiki by Kimia
Deva - Witchcraft
It's a little bit psychedelic, but I like how she mixes folk music with electronic tunes
One of the few songs I like from my province. "Le pic-bois" by Beau Dommage. A song from Quebec complaining about how living in a city isn't the same as in the woods in the countryside.
Petit Pays by Cesária Evora
Aber bitte mit Sahne
Vedno Si Sanjala Njega -Fredi Miler. Pretty sure he won Eurovision 5 times in a row with this same song. I don’t know, my wife is Slovenian and says this guy is top shit for her country.
man, cina has a beautiful voice, which language is it? is it the same as the one from dobet? couldn't get lyrics to compare. (Also happy to see a spanish song there in the middle as I'm one from south america)
I won't lie the album cover had me chuckle a bit lol. But I actually sort of liked it, it sounds like it came straight from the 80s even though it's from 2005, and that's always a good thing. I could totally see it playing in a movie sequence, no joke
My wife’s dad worked with the guy and I started getting a little bit too in to it, like I dressed up as him for Carnival in Slovenia and they dropped all of them off social media. I guess impersonation is not the biggest form of flattery. I broke that family relationship, but her dad was cool with it. Still a banger though.
it's amazing. I put it into one of my playlists, really really dig that style. It reminded me of Hotline Miami soundtrack (?), but waaay more calm and relaxing. Check out Knock Knock - Scattle, who knows, maybe you'll like it. Also thanks for that recommendation, really good
They being Fredi and his son who went to school with my wife. I imported him to the states and he is always top pick during karaoke nights.
I was a bit skeptical at first, but it got me after a minute and 30s, really cool
it sounds amazing. he reminds me a lot of Conan Gray
I had to listen to this in its entirety. I couldn't understand a thing, and I listen to french music on a regular basis. This is gold, the music video just made the whole thing so much better
The story behind the song is interesting! The language is Chiac. It’s Acadian French.
Boy Golden - KD and Lunch Meat
A very Canadian video and tune.
"Ang Huling El Bimbo" by the Eraserheads. This is my favorite Filipino song of all time, from a band often touted as The Beatles of the Philippines. Absolutely epic song, with a moving story and great arrangement.
Here's the original music video:
And here's a version with captions of the lyrics translated into English.
That's so cool, you learn something new everyday. Pretty sure everytime I think french I'll remember the big purple snowy elephant
Treaty by Yothu Yindi is a banger. One of the few chart hits in Australia sung in a First Nations language. https://youtu.be/2uszdyMaC2c
Sort Sol - Let your fingers do the walking.
The band sings in English but they're from Denmark.
For Dutch, I'm gonna go with Twee Meisjes
From Montreal, Quebec: Attends Moi by Harmonium
Ah Cina is from Ghana. And yes she's a gifted vocalist. The language is Ga.
Dobet Gnahoré is from the neighbouring country, Cote d'Ivoire.
Love this band :)
Vandraren by Nordman.
It's a folk-pop song that pretty much all Swedes know.
Try these
