Hi, I recently got an amazon gift card and would like to buy either wireless noise-canceling headphones or wireless noise-canceling earbuds. If it's headphones, I'm thinking of Anker Q30 and if it's earbuds, I'm thinking of Beats Studio Buds, Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro, Samsung Galaxy Buds 2, or JBL Tune 130NC TWS. Please let me know which would be the best option. Thanks so much.

Some people like earbuds, some like over-the-ear headphones. I'm the latter. It really depends on your preference.

For me it depends on what I’m doing. But I do prefer the sound quality of over-ears.

Sennheiser HD 450SE for $89. Bought them for my dad and he loves them.

Beats are gonna be the worst quality. You're paying for the name and for earbuds that just have the eq all fucked with and the bass jacked up too much. As a musician I hate beats headphones.

I have Samsung Galaxy buds and they are great. As a single dad I have one bud in constantly so I can listen to podcasts/music and take care of the baby. This is def something for you to consider that I hadn't considered before I got the buds. I use them way more than I thought.

For over the ear you should check out audio Technica. I like them a lot for the price.

Know that you're just not going to get anything that is truly noise cancelling at that price point.

I agree beats sound quality and build quality is not great. Owned two studio 3 and they both broke in a year.. I’ll probably get the galaxy buds. Thanks for letting me know!

I have galaxy buds plus and they're good headphones but I don't think you're going to get good ANC from any brand at that price. A good deal on some buds is about as good as ANC to me anyway

I've got noise canceling ones but honestly my by far favorite headphones are Shokz Open Run headphones. They are "bone headphones" that sit outside your ear up against the ear channel and conduct the sound to your inner ear.

I’ve got the Tunes, can’t really complain about jbl quality, I will say despite having these I’m more of an over ear guy, I seem to generate a lot of earwax. Additionally my ear canals are different shapes and when I’m building/moving things in a brewery setting, sometimes they fall out. But the quality do be good tho.

I love my galaxy buds pro. My biggest issue is the tips wear out fairly quick. I've got large ears and even then about once a week I'll pull the headphones out of my ear and the tip gets stuck in my ear so I have to go fishing for it. You can get new buds on Amazon for like 15 bucks. But it's still an annoying problem.

I got some in ear monitors for my PC recently, really good quality but super sensitive. Had to turn volume from 100 to 55 for regular use. Decent IEM's are great but also a double-edged sword.

Look them up on rtings.com

It really depends on what you're looking for from headphones

Anker is garbage. Look up expert reviews. Best headphones under $100 category, can't be any easier. Read a few as some are skewed. Also, what do u want them for? Gaming, music, portability (commuting), noise cancelling, wireless? Sony WHCH710N is like $150. Spend more but better quality and last you longer. Philips makes a budget model under $100. Good company with history of quality headphones.

I generally use the device for all purposes listed above (maybe not the best choice but still) I used to have Beats Studio 3 but broke them two times in the same way (broken right hinge) so I might prefer noise cancelling earbuds

I just broke my q30s. I got them originally because they were so cheap but they’ve raised their prices. My wife’s q20s actually sound and work better and have outlasted the q30s. There is some flaw where it hinges. They were pretty good for the price and while they lasted but like others are saying, they’re not great and I won’t buy them again.
