I still want to play with them, but I don't have the same will to do so as before. I'm the singer and one of our three guitarrists, but my guitar it's not important, it wouldn't be a problem to our songs if I stop playing, and that's a problem for me, I'd like for my guitar playing to be really important. I don't have the will to write lyrics for our songs anymore and the last times I tried, I couldn't write anything good. I don't like our general vibe anymore, I don't feel able to express myself through our music anymore, I feel like I'm in the wrong place. I need some advice please. Thank you.

Do yourself a favor and start your own outfit. Give your best effort to yourself. Nobody else will.

You don’t need advice, you need encouragement.

Time to move on! Be hold. Take chances. You clearly care about expression and art…surround yourself with people who share your vision(s), or go it alone.

Good luck!

Leave on the best terms possible. “It’s been great, you guys are awesome, but I have to try some new things out…” You’ve probably built up connections with venues, etc. and you don’t want don’t want to burn bridges.

Yes, I'm not upset with them. When we're writing, some members of our band just give ideas that I don't like that much, and that has been happening most of the times, lately, when we're writing something.
