I'll usually listen to the album the song is off and will do a discog run if I continue to enjoy it.

I usually search them on Youtube and see which of their songs have the most views and try those first

I listen to their top 5 on Spotify and then listen from the first album to the last. Sometimes, I listen to compilation albums because they might have some hidden gems not included on the main albums.

I usually look up the discography, listen to whatever album the song is from, and go from there.

I'll start with the album from which the song came, and if the entire album is strong I'll begin to dive into the discography.

I try to avoid "Greatest Hits" albums because there is too little context, and the deep cuts often give a better sense of the band than just a selection of chart toppers.

Me personally I download everything they have or that I can find. And put it on a thumb drive and listen to them on my commute. Cannot beat a 128gb of random tunes

I’ll listen to the rest of their top five popular songs. If I like them enough, I’ll follow their albums in chronological order.

Find a track I like, check on discogs, search for remaining songs on YouTube. It helps if somebody has uploaded the full album. If not its copy paste each track from discogs into YT. If I like it I buy the CD.

If the song is really good I usually go to either their main Spotify page or the album itself. Usually find at least 1 other good song, but Id never force myself to listen to all their discography
