I was a teen in the 90's/early 2000's. Back then, kids like you were saying that the 70's had the best music. It takes time for things to become classics.

Nah, when I was 15 I hated popular music and only listened to music from the 60s and 70s. From there I branched out to different decades, genres and styles.

You're going to take a long journey musically and have a lot of great memories. Enjoy the ride. Best stuff is always down the path less traveled.

Listen to whatever your ears like, buttercup. All of life is weird. Is it not weird that you listen to music from before your time. Enjoy the discovery process… There’s a lot out there!

Currently they are playing ALL of the music that’s out right now but they only play the good songs from the past. There is a ton of great music being made every day.

Okay, first of all Queen is an 80s band. Second, it's cool to be into 90s music if that's what you enjoy, and also if you are open to other eras.

You hear a lot of the good stuff now but a lot of the stuff that was crap you don't hear. It's like what my Mom told me in the 90s about 60s music, the good stuff has survived.

Maybe just enjoy what you like and let other people enjoy what they like. Music is subjective. Or option B is don’t care what people think about you and enjoy life!

nope, in high school I hung with people that listened to Led Zepplin, Pink Floyd and the Grateful Dead 24/7

Make and listen to music that has soul in it, passion. That's the whole point. This new music is fucking dog shit

20 years ago I was mostly listening to 60s, 80s, and 80s. In the past ten years I have found a crapload of current artists that I love. In the last 5 years I have leaned into bands from 20 years ago that my friends were all into and I have huge nostalgia for. So, listen to what you want. If it's good, it'll be good in any year

The “old music good/new music bad” mentality is definitely a phase. Having said that, if you name some 90s artists you like, maybe I can recommend some similar modern artists.

There’s nothing wrong with listening to ‘90’s music but you should explore more. There more music made today than there ever was in the past. There’s much more than just rap.

Move beyond top 40 and look for indie bands. You’ll be happily surprised. I have a 15 year old daughter that also loves Queen but also listen to current bands.

I'm 17 and I mainly listen to Sonic The Hedgehog music, so no, its not weird. You just have a different taste from everyone else, and dare i say, better taste than them probably.
