Idk if there’s a word for liking specific chord combinations but I do know that there are names for specific chord combinations called modes: Aeolian, Ionian, Dorian, just to name a few, you might have better luck finding music based off of the mode - combination of chords - rather then the genre.

I think this fits best! Thanks for the knowledge mate. It's been bothering me all week how the auto IQ shuffle on Spotify was constantly picking winners, even tracks I'd never heard before and tracks I'd forgotten that I loved.

I’m a sucker for a maj7 chord, no matter the genre

Oh heck yeah. Now I know that for me, maj7 sounds like this busy but not pretentious bar that is half inside half out and the trees around the tables have lights in them (I wasnt a child as such but not 18 so no booze memory cloudiness). It's the kind of temperature where you can't feel the air around you. Unfortunatly there are some mozzies but it's QLD and everyone wears aeroguard like their favourite perfume so they tend to stay away. The signature dish is swordfish steak with crispy roast potatoes and rocket salad. What a vibe

It’s corpuscular. Unattached, both within the piece and not. It moves freely, always going where it wants but never where it is unwanted. It is an aspirational chord
