Any song, any genre, any language.. originals, covers, remixes etc. Format how you want, preferably Artist - Title and/or Links (maybe even a Rick Roll or Sandstorm 😂)

Not a big Slipknot fan in general, but attempted to listen through without pre-judgement. That was pretty epic and I got some pretty cool visuals and feelings 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Holy shit that was crazy 😂 it all fits together, but I’d probably only listen again to a re-mixed/mastered version without the vocals haha. The instrumentation was dope

Oo that was dope! At first it sounded like it was gonna be really predictable but it definitely had a lot of elements I wasn’t expecting and all sounded good together with a nice composition

For something different.

"Untitled #8 (Popplagio)" by Sigur Rós. Icelandic post-rock band. It's a long one but it builds. They usually end their concerts with it.

That was epic! Pretty sure I’ve heard the name Sigur Rós before, but always thought it was some old American, Margaritaville type dude, and just realized I was getting it mixed up with Bob Segar 😂

Maybe a little different but you might like; |John Frusciante - Song to the Siren| |Elsiane - Vaporous| |Elsiane - Mend (to Fix, to Repair)| Also maybe some stuff from Cosmic Voices of Bulgaria

Well, if we're sharing ANY songs, I'll do a bit of shameless self-promotion as I just put some new ones online. Kinda dark alt-rock/indie stuff. For fans of.. I dunno, Young Widows, Fugazi, Bob Mould/HD? You tell me.

Not a real band, I'm just an older fella who does this for fun.

For your listening pleasure.

That was sick! A lot of great energy and long grooves with enough transitions to keep it fresh while still making sense.

This track came up next on auto play (YT) you might like: [ Vieux Farka Touré & Khruangbin - Tongo Barra ] Also maybe check out Fat Freddy’s Drop, they’re a different genre but also have a bit of a longer format with some nice grooves. Their song Shiverman matches the tempo and energy of your suggestion more so than their others I’ve heard.

Scavengers by Calla - produced by Michael Gira of Swans fame. Try the song "Hover over Nowhere"

Listened to the whole EP, nice work dude! I liked 1., 2. & 3. most. Not sure what would qualify you as a real band, but it sounded like it. Are you on Instagram?

audwun OP t1_jddkmmn wrote

Ohh so that’s who does that song. For some reason I thought Franz Ferdinand was rap/hip hop 😂 probably confusing it with another name. The Dark of the Matinée was cool too, it kinda reminds me of | Foals - Balloons | and | Kaiser Chiefs - Ruby | 🤙🏽🤙🏽

Nice recommendations! All have that dreamy quality. Some I’ve heard, love Gymnopedie No. 1, always wondered what it was when I’d hear it on the radio/tv etc. finally figured it out a couple years ago. My favorite band, deftones has a cover of Please, Please, Please Let Me Get What I Want. First time hearing the original I think, I like the og a lot more lol. Added a couple Floor Cry/Vansire tracks to my likes 🤙🏽

Awesome, thank you for listening! Not a real band in the sense that I play/program all of the instruments myself. More of a home recording project, I suppose. I am on instagram, handle is on my profile page here. Thanks again!

😂 Mazzy Star - Fade Into You came on and my gf said she something about not liking sad songs, I get that it might sound a little melancholic, but the lyrics are probably more positive and loving, or at least a mix between melancholic and loving. Then you got songs like Semi-Charmed Life by Third Eye Blind and Today by Smashing pumpkins that sound upbeat and happy but they’re about drug addiction and suicide lol

Gotcha, I wasn’t necessarily scrutinizing the elements too closely, but nothing stuck out as being programmed/midi etc. sounded good Cool, follow for follow maybe? I make music too, but for now I’m mostly just posting my art 🎨 I requested - @audwunart

Glad you enjoyed it. And that dancer, well she can sing a bit too. Check out Change, absolutely beautiful.

And if you want to go down that rabbit hole, check out her work with Trans-Siberian Orchestra.

I checked out Nagana, it’s not a type of music I generally listen to, but it definitely sounded professional. Composition was good, I liked the instrumentation, guitar tones and the the higher vocals were dope!

It was cool, definitely reminded me of the 90’s. The name sounded familiar but wasn’t for sure on who he was. For some reason I’m surprised he’s only 57 😂
