For me, a couple songs came to mind immediately:

  1. Little bit - Lykke Li

This was a very significant track for me and my partner 11 years ago when we had decided to get together after being best friends for a while.

  1. High on a Rocky Ledge - Moondog

Heard this around 5 years ago and it instantly became a song I listen to when I think about my partner. Something about the line+delivery of "we're so deliriously happy" just hit incredibly hard

  1. Blue Skies - Noah and the Whale

If the Lykke Li answer didn't reveal my age, this definitely will. When I got my heart broken for the first time at the age of 15, listening to this song was a brutal but healing experience. Basically played it on a loop for a couple of months.

  1. The Whole of the Moon - Kirin J Callinan (I prefer this version to the Waterboys original)

Just an amazing non-romantic love song. Applies to so many people in my life.

Love Songs by New Model Army. Still brings a tear to my eye when I remember listening to it when I was young and hurting.

Since the first time I listened to "Still Remains" by Stone Temple Pilots, it just went through my veins. I usually don't listen to romantic songs unless there is a Dark side on them, however this one just makes me feel connected, chill and happy.
